Canada +55 Seniors Games in Brockville

Postby canadianzombie » Tue Feb 23, 2010 8:55 pm

I was looking through the information on the National Seniors Games to be held here in August 2010 and there's going to be geocaching. I'm not sure if it will be considered a National Championship or a demonstration sport, but I know for sure we have some .................seasoned (read over 55 years of age) cachers out there who may want to check it out. I've left a link for those interested.
Cheers

CZ,

I just received an email from the Program Coordinator for the 55+ Canada games, asking to touch base by phone. If you don't mind, I will suggest your name along with Binrat and Geogranny as contact people. I am sure a number of KAG members would love to be involved (myself included) but it would be good to have someone local to be the point person.

No problem, I was going to offer my assistance anyway, as this would be a great way to expand the sport in a positive way.

Geogranny, it appears that the person who contacted me is new and has taken over this job from someone else. So I think she is just trying to figure things out. If you don't mind, I'll give your name to her when I call.
