Forgot to mention that friends say they're expecting a foot of snow in Ottawa between now & the 13th. Good for the 3 week Winterlude festivities. You might want to consider bringing some digging equipment with you. We will be. They also say that Ottawa is used to it so many caches are winter-friendly.
