Well, this is where luck or being lucky comes in play. The coin was picked up by a user who logged it in as being found on gc.com. This is amazingly cool that he did all this. I read the log on the coin and he indicated where he found it etc. I kind of took it upon myself to congradulate him on finding it and logging it in. He emailed me back saying he wasn't sure what to do with it and what the purpose behind it was. He even asked if he should leave it on a bus or a plane to be found next. This cracked me up a bit but I told him to put in his postal code on the main page of GC.com and he found a park next to his place that he figured he could locate. About a week or so goes by and he emails me back saying he finally found the cache without using a GPS but it wasn't large enough for dropping off a GC! Again, I got cracked up hearing his story about finding a cache after a week or searching on a few attempts without a GPS. Good lord I can only imagine what troubles he went through without a unit. He went on saying that he won't invest the money on a unit for a one shot deal. (Looks like we didn't get a new cacher involved afterall
I replied to him saying if he wishes, by all means mail the coin back to me and i'll put it in a cache large enough. He's been a great guy going through and trying to move the coin along and he even took the time and money to mail the coin back to me. Looking forward to moving this coin onward once again.
I wonder if there would be a way to log the accumulated travels ?
