GSAK GetMail -- Automating Pocket Queries

In another tutorial , we showed how Pocket Queries were an excellent way to get a lot of cache information into GSAK.  But the power of the combination of Pocket Queries and GSAK doesn't stop there.  You can easily set up GSAK to get the PQs from your email account and load them into your current database.  The video that follows will take you through the steps of how to do this.

This tutorial assumes that you have:

• an email address that you use for Pocket Queries.  It is HIGHLY recommended that you have an email account that you use only for Pocket Queries.  A free GMail account is an excellent option for this purpose, and is used in this tutorial as an example.  You can get a free GMail account here .
• set up a Pocket Query on the Geocaching.com web site.  If you need to know how to do this, check out this tutorial first.
